Trainee Compliance / International Graduate Program (f/m)

From the headquarters in Mainz, the Compliance Office helps and supports all SCHOTT locations in 35 countries worldwide to put these values into practice each and every day.

Currently, we are looking for a Graduate (Trainee) to support our Compliance team in Mainz effective December 1st, 2017. The Graduate program will be set-up for a duration of 18 months and will include various rotational assignments in the Compliance department as well as in related departments.

Your tasks
Assisting the Compliance team in ensuring internal behavior conforming to the law and in line with the corporate regulations
Conceptual support of developing our Compliance management system and Compliance standards with the help of existing regulations
Monitoring developments in law, Compliance trends and market developments incl. assessing and updating our Compliance regulations
Supporting the corporate Auditing team by continuously reviewing the implementation of specific Compliance standards
Assisting with Compliance investigations and monitoring measures
Assisting in and gradually taking over responsibility for setting-up and conducting internal Compliance trainings and supporting Compliance communication initiatives
Build up your internal network by collaborating in international teams and projects within the Compliance team as well as the Businesses we are cooperating with

Anforderungen

Your profile
University degree in Business Law, Business Administration or Business Ethics with above-average results and a focus on Compliance
Good understanding of key Compliance topics such as codes of conduct, antitrust, anti-corruption, data privacy, etc.
First relevant practical experience with a Compliance management system through internships and/ or job training
International experience through various work experience, internships and/ or staying abroad
Distinct analytical and conceptual skills, structured and systematic approaches
Strong in communication and ability to work in a team
Strong command of German and English language skills, additional language knowledge is a plus
